More acquisition news is coming this week as Caesars Entertainment is set to acquire ZeroFlucs. The Australian company primarily works on sportsbook odd creation and prediction, specializing in same-game and in-play parlays for MLB. Beyond the MLB, ZeroFlucs does more generalized odds prediction, data analysis, and simulations making them an important addition to the already stellar Caesars’ Sportsbook. With ZeroFlucs technology already incorporated into the sportsbook, users won’t notice any difference, but this significantly increases Caesars’ in-house technology

Eric Hession President of Caesars’ Digital had this to add about the acquisition, “We are excited to welcome the talented ZeroFlucs team into the Caesars family[…] Their expertise in data science and trading technology coupled with their passion for sports makes them a perfect fit with our team as we drive to offer our customers the best sports betting product that complements our award-winning Caesars Rewards program.”. This is a move to provide users with a wider array of betting options than ever; allowing users to create more flexible bets that suit their interests.

Much of the current ZeroFlucs leadership team will be joining the Caesars’ ranks, with ZeroFlucs founder Steve Gray making a statement about the acquisition, “We are thrilled to be joining forces with the team at Caesars and can’t imagine a better home for our people or a platform for our product to shine on,”. Mr. Gray continued, “Our team has always been passionate about being at the forefront of what’s possible in sports betting, and with the resources and reach of Caesars, we can now focus on taking these experiences to the next level.”

The future looks bright for the ZeoFlucs team, as they will now be supported by the existing Caesars’ data science team. The ZeroFlucs team will still be led by Steve Gray, who has been given the title of Senior Vice President of Pricing Technology at Caesars’ Entertainment.
