Popular online casino provider Games Global is in the news for postponing its initial public offering (IPO). The IPO was announced earlier this month, but the company’s announcement on May 14, 2024, suggests that the 14.5 million ordinary shares have been delayed in the best interests of stakeholders.

Before this postponed IPO announcement, Games Global made headlines when it struck a partnership deal with the popular mixed martial arts company Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). According to the announcement, the partnership is facilitated by the UFC’s licensing agency, IMG.

Representatives of both parties have spoken extensively on the benefits of the collaboration, and what their fans, supporters, and customers can expect. Here’s the breakdown of the partnership.

What to Expect from the Deal between Games Global Inks and UFC

Although Games Global was only established in 2021, it has become one of the most reputable companies in the iGaming industry. The company is licensed by the United Kingdom Gambling Commission (UKGC), the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA), and the Gambling Commissioner in Gibraltar. Games Global has a repertoire of classic and modern games. From slots, to live dealer games, bingo, blackjack, baccarat, and roulette, the company has a long list of the most popular games in online casinos.

A quick glance at UFC also suggests an impressive record in its niche. Since it was founded in 1993, the UFC has grown to become a global sports brand with millions of fans. The martial arts company has over 260 million followers across its various social media platforms. The growing population of its fan base can be attributed to its annual 40+ live events broadcasted in 38 states in the U.S. and over 170 countries to almost 200 million households.

With impressive achievements from both parties, this collaboration is undoubtedly expected to produce new game titles that will demand the parties to recruit new players which will also increase their fan base.
According to Games Global’s chief product officer, Andy Booth, this partnership will allow the company to cater to “ millions of fans who share the passion for action and excitement.” UFC’s senior vice president, global consumer products, Tracey Bleczinski, also aired the company’s enthusiasm for the partnership. In her words, the partnership will create games that will become a ”hit with fight fans everywhere.”

Games Global is expected to design new UFC-themed games until 2027 while UFC promotes the games via its platforms. The slots are going to be a model digital version of classic slot machines with popular UFC features and impressive prices. According to both parties, there will be an exclusive game launch later this month and another batch of games in July, 2024. Players in the US will have access to these games via their local betting platform in states where online casinos are legal. These states include Connecticut, Delaware, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, West Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Final Thoughts

While we await the launch of UFC-themed slots, it’s important to know if online casinos are legal in your state. Please note that only residents in Connecticut, Delaware, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and West Virginia can access iGaming platforms.

It’s also important to know what betting operators will have access to the proposed slots to avoid getting scammed. UFC and Ganes Global have assured the public that the approved betting operators will be announced before the games are launched. Please stay tuned to the updates on their websites and social media platforms. Remember to always gamble responsibly! We are rooting for you.
