Casino players in the U.S. seem to have caught onto some jackpot craze recently. Between April and May this year, news of outstanding wins from slots and table games have run rampant across the country. These totally unconnected players in different states, playing different games at different times is ultimate proof of the sheer randomness of jackpots.

The trend started in a Four Winds Casino located in the heart of New Buffalo where an unnamed guest walked home with a whopping $536,614 prize money. Even more exciting is the fact that he made that fortune from a small $5 bet. The player who is based in Schaumburg, Illinois won the jackpot while playing the Dollar Storm Wild Ninja slot.

While this event occurred on April 28, Four Winds Casino has reported paying out similarly massive prizes in the two months prior.

“Four Winds Casinos is very excited for all our guests that have recently won significant and life-changing jackpots at one of our four casino locations as well as our online casino,” Mary Smith, the Chief Operating Officer of Four Winds Casino said reacting to the run of wins.
Since March, the casino reportedly paid out $3.2 million to different clients in Indiana and Michigan. This figure includes a $177,894 prize paid to an Indiana player who placed a $0.88 stake on the Double Blessings progressive jackpot slot.

Big Blackjack and Poker Payouts Put Virginia and New York Players on the Map

Away from the American Midwest and slots, two players in Virginia and New York have also shown that it’s possible to win big on table games. First was a lucky Old Dominion state resident who played the Ultimate Texas Hold’em poker and completed the unbeatable hand with an ace-high straight flush.

He won a whopping $1.259 million in progressive jackpot prizes, making him one of the biggest winners ever on the Ultimate Texas Hold’em in the U.S. Alex Alvarado, the VP of Casino Operations at MGM National Harbor where the record payout happened expressed his enthusiasm at the development.

“We’re thrilled that a local struck a big payday on one of our many table games that feature progressive jackpots,” Alvarado said in a press release.

Although the jackpot payout happened on May 5, the Virginia winner has chosen to stay anonymous and understandably so.

Some 400 miles away at the Mohegan Sun in New York, another winner emerged, this time a Franklin Square resident named “Maged K.” After wagering a rather unassuming $5 bet on a blackjack game, Maged K won $483,622.40 thanks to the Super 4 Progressive Jackpot side bet.

Anonymous Visitor at The Venetian Scoops Biggest Win in May with Almost $3 Million Prize

Another Ultimate Texas Hold’em player from Union City in Ohio also walked home with a $362,640 jackpot. The player, identified as Damon Howell, witnessed a positive twist to his 21st birthday celebration at The LINQ Hotel in Las Vegas when he hit the grand prize. Surprisingly, he had only played the game for 30 minutes before hitting the monumental win.

Next up is the story of Joseph Nardello who etched his name in history books at The Venetian in Las Vegas. Nardello won an awe-inspiring $1,904,062 win after he hit a royal flush of spades on the Three Card Poker game and activated the mega tier of the Millionaire Progressive jackpot.

Interestingly, barely days after Nardello made the news, his achievement was overshadowed by reports of another guest at The Venetian who won a mind-blowing $2,699,320. The jackpot winner who craved anonymity dealt the spade royal flush hand on the Ultimate Texas Hold’em and subsequently made the $5 side bet. He now stands as the highest ever winner on the Millionaire Progressive jackpot at The Venetian to date.
