Barely a week after making its entry into the Pennsylvania market, courtesy of a deal with BetRivers, Play’n GO has now announced a fresh partnership with BetMGM. This new agreement will offer games from the Swedish developer to BetMGM customers in the Keystone State.

With its reach in Pennsylvania now secure, Play’n GO has effectively established a presence with BetMGM in four U.S. states where online casinos are regulated. Even better, it possesses operating licenses in six jurisdictions across the country and hopes to become fully active in these states soon.

We’re pleased to expand our partnership with BetMGM into a fourth US state, and look forward to continued success together. We have always been committed to a safe, regulation-led industry to secure a sustainable future for us all. BetMGM share our vision, and so are a perfect partner for us,” Magnus Olsson, Chief Commercial Officer at Play’n GO said in a press release.
We will continue our mission of being active in every regulated market around the world, and we’re excited for further growth opportunities well into the future, in the US and beyond

Swedish Gaming Giant Aims to Build on Success Recorded in Michigan and New Jersey

Play’n GO and BetMGM have been long-term partners since the Swedish suppliers first made its debut in the U.S. back in 2022. Both companies kickstarted their commercial relationship in New Jersey before mutually expanding to Michigan and West Virginia.

The partnership has been commercially successful in the first three states, and now Play’n GO hopes to consolidate on these accomplishments with an expansion to Pennsylvania.
One of the major milestones of the BetMGM-Play’n GO partnership was the exclusive release of the Piggy Blitz slot in December 2023. The game remained exclusive to BetMGM casino in the states until January 2024 when Play’n GO rolled it out to its other casino partners in the US.

Commenting to reporters after the announcement of the deal, Oliver Bartlett, BetMGM’s Vice President of Gaming Product and Content had this to say:
“Partnering with prestigious providers like Play’n GO is a priority for BetMGM. We are excited to bring their content to Pennsylvania and if other states are any indication, it will be a big success. Titles such as Piggy Blitz are among the top performers.”

Play’n GO is set to offer a diverse collection of popular and exclusive games to BetMGM players in the state. From classic slots to table games, Pennsylvanians can enjoy notable releases like:
Reactoonz

  • Sweet Alchemy Series
  • The Dead Series
  • Lordi Reel Monster
  • Wilde Series
  • Hugo the Troll Series
  • Twister Sister

In addition to these titles, there are releases spanning a variety of themes including Ancient Egyptian slots, Norse mythology and Sci-Fi games. Players are also treated to a range of bonus features such as Free Spins, Cluster Pays, Expanding Reels, and Cascading Wins.

BetRivers Deal Opened Up Opportunity For Play’n GO’s Expansion in Pennsylvania

Interestingly, the partnership between Play’n GO and BetMGM is not the former’s first foray into the Keystone Stone. The Swedish gaming operator secured its online casino manufacturer license from the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board on April 5.

Soon afterwards, the developer announced its debut in the state through a deal with Rush Interactive, the parent company of BetRivers online casino. This agreement would eventually pave the way for an expansion with BetMGM in Pennsylvania.

Elsewhere, on April 11, Play’n GO also announced that it was going live in Delaware via a partnership with BetRivers in the state. These moves are indicative of the Swedish giant’s commitment to achieving its goal of expanding throughout the U.S. and beyond.
